Then do the same exact thing with both Limited and Semi Limited cards, with putting the number in hex ahead of them, then the card ID's and that will create your new ban list.Īlso note if you want to completely remove the banlist entirely from the game, have that pd_limits.bin file look like this: 00 00 00 00 00 00 Please note that because I'm lazy I just copied an AI deck for the example, in yours you shouldn't have any repeat numbers, just use 1 copy of each card in the banned deck. In this case its 40 that are in the deck, so that would be 28 00 and the file would look like this: Copy those numbers and back in the pdlimits.bin, remove everything in there so the file is empty, then convert the number of banned cards into hex. In this case, there's 80 numbers, since each card ID is 2 bytes each and there's 40 cards in the deck. The numbers I have highlighted are the card ID's that are in the deck. In this case I named my deck 'Banned' and I can see it here in the save file:

Once you are done, open up your save file in hex again and look for the deck name that you named it in game. The easiest way to change the banlist is to make a new deck in game and put all the cards you want banned in the deck (make more than 1 deck if you can't fit them all in there).

Anyways, if you use a calculator to convert that number into hex (or use a site like "this":) you will see that 48 in hex is 72 in regular numbers, since there are 72 cards that are banned.
Legacy of the duelist banlist mod#
The number may be different in your file depending on if you are using my mod or something else. The first 2 bytes in this file, 48 00, signify the total number of cards that are currently banned. You will find this in the YGO_Data/Bin folder.įirst open that file in a hex editor, I use HxD and it looks like this: If you want to edit or make a completely new banlist in the game, you need to edit the pd_limits.bin file. ? github-wiki-see.page does not render Textile.
